Future's Looking Bright

I totally look at blogs just to see the pictures of people. So, here's a taste of what I go to blogs for (more pics of Brooke Marie).

Easter 2009

My future's looking bright...I gotta wear shades.
Sweet. It's dinner time! (Can barely see it, but she's wearing a Twins onsie.)
All dressed up and I'm outa here!

It's me, Brooke!

Well, I just turned five months old and I'm getting ready to go to Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Kenny's for Easter (I hope I get to see the Easter bunny.). But, before we left, I wanted to send you a few of my favorite pictures from the last month. I just started sitting for the first time. Mom and Dad were pretty excited, but if the would ever put me down, then I would have shown them sooner. Now, the expect me to start rolling. Come on! Let me show you one new thing at a time so you don't have a heart attack from all the excitement.

There's another picture of me in an awful get-up. The tutu was fun. I wore that during my pictures with Shawna. But the flower headband. Really? That was going a little too far.

And, finally, I turned five months old this month. And, what did my parents give me. Prunes. Gross. But, I ate them like the champ I am. Toodles, Brooke

Look, I'm not even 5 months old and I can sit up by myself!

Nice headband mom.

Five months old and all you give me is prunes. Thanks alot.

Water Logged

Brooke loves ice water. Here's the video to prove it.

5 months

Brooke Marie is now five months old and can already sit up by herself. Actually, she's been doing that for the last two weeks now. The first time she did it, she looked up at us like, "Hey, I've been able to do this all along, you just never put me down long enough." HA. Now, we are on to learning the concept of rolling over.

She's also gotten the new nickname: Brooker von Bon Bon. Justin says she's being trained by Magnus ver Magnusson for the Worlds Strongest (person) Man Competition because of her size. Let me tell you what, her legs are like power houses. So, next time you are flipping through the channels and see a little person on TV pulling a semi, don't rub your eyes thinking it's a dwarf. That's just Brooker von Bon Bon.

I'll have to get some more recent photos from last weekend and a video or two posted. By the way, she growls now, too. What a gal!

Happiness is a labrador retreiver.

We can't forget about Cody, too. He didn't want to let Brooke steal all the spotlight.

If anyone is ever interested in lab check out this place: http://www.moonshinelabs.com/. They should be having another litter soon. We got Cody from them. His parents are Jazz & Rio. While, Cody doesn't hunt (unless it's a ball), their labs come from excellent bloodlines with many titles in their pedigrees. We couldn't have asked for a better dog (best friend) to have for Brooke as she grows up. Happiness truly is a labrador retriever.

Brooke's first photo shoot

We just did our first professional photo shoot with an amazing photographer (Shawna Widdel, originally from Minot, but now works out of GF (shawnanoel.com)). The pictures turned out amazing. Here are a couple of our favorites.

Biker Babe

I just stumbled across this photo of Brooke and had to post them because it makes me laugh. Now, if you don't think she doesn't have the cutest smile in the world you are mad!
